There are certain patients who, despite lengthy stays in hospital and extensive pulmonary rehabilitation, still are unable to breathe on their own.

These patients, by way of a tracheotomy, are able to breathe with the assistance of a ventilator which can be provided to the patient at home.

Our respiratory therapists monitor the progress of the patient at home with regular visits and assessments, which are in turn forwarded to the referring physician.
